Deadlifts

Ive been pretty low carb all week and it showed in todays workout.  I hit 365 for twoand was pretty much done after that. I pyramid-ed down for five sets but could only manage 3 to 5 reps. Probably going to saty at this weight for a little while until I get used to the new diet.

I haven't disappeared

I've been umder the weather for the lawt week amd haven't been updating my blog. Ive only hqad 2 or 3 workouts in the past week and those have been ok.

I attribute my illness and general lack of vitality to training too much and allowing myself too many diet excursions.  I've made the decision to tighten up my diet by eliminating processed food. Ive also decided to take more recovery days.

I hope that this (along with proper supplementation) will keep me healthy and on the right path for strength gains.

Back day

Today was supposed to be back and bi but I did an impromptu arm session yesterday.

Warmed up with some pulldowns
3 sets of pullups super setted with pulldowns
3 sets of hammer rows
3 sets of shrugs
2 sets of db rows
3 sets of face pulls

Got out of there in 40 minutes

PWO meal: 5 free range eggs, 2 scoops of whey, one gluten free waffle, three gluten free pancakes.  Eggs were cooked in coconut oil and the waffle and pancakes had organic butter.

The good thing about having your own home gym is that when you show up at the health club on Easter Sunday and its close, you can just go home and workout.

On a side note, I'm already having commitment issues to the program I decided to use for my prep. In the end I guess it really doesn't matter as long as i get to the meet and hit all 9 lifts.

I'm still trying to figure out how to log my workouts and post them. Stay tuned.
